Recognition and Achievements
Community Recognition Statement in Parliament for Autism Expo Australia
"Autism Expo Australia was a groundbreaking event dedicated to supporting autism families at every stage of their journey. The expo, hosted for the first time in August this year, was attended by approximately 600 people, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
It featured workshops, a sensory room and a Q and A panel, showcasing a comprehensive array of resources and support services. The panel featured professionals, including Melissa Vallorani, Lindel Sibanda, Jessica Otter, Ebru Deliktasli and others. Created as an extension of Help You Cope, the event was organised by dedicated carer volunteers, led by directors Joline George and Racheal McDonald.
I thank Joline, Racheal and the many other volunteers for their incredible dedication to our community, and I look forward to joining them for another successful expo next year."

AASS Westfield Local Champion
Our founder Joline received the Autism Advisory and support Services Westfield Local Champion Award!
Joline was nominated for creating a safe and supportive community for carers and parents of autistic children.
Joline was recognised for working tirelessly, often funding from her own pocket to ensure carers are seen, supported and understood. Her ability to unite parents & carers in a non-judgemental, understanding and helpful environment has led to lifelong friendships and a strong support network.
Thank you to Grace and the team at Autism Advisory and Support Services.

Assyrian Business Awards
We are beyond honoured to have won the award for Charitable and Social Impact.
As a mother of a child on the autism spectrum, our founder Joline knows firsthand the challenges carers face. What started as a small idea has now grown into a registered charity supporting so many in our community—something she never imagined. All glory to God.
A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers, directors, and everyone who voted and has supported us along the way.
A big thank you to the The Assyrian Business Awards for this recognition and for bringing us all together to celebrate community, business, and impact.
Together, we will continue to serve, uplift, and support autism carers. This is just the beginning!
Community Recognition Statement in Parliament for Help You Cope
David Saliba - MP for Fairfield
"Help You Cope is a not‑for‑profit organisation based in south‑west Sydney with truly inspiring beginnings. Joline George felt overwhelmed and unsupported when her son received an autism diagnosis at 18 months old.
After approximately one and a half years of navigating how to best provide for his care needs, in March 2019 Joline founded Help You Cope—an autism support hub designed to counsel and offer support to carers facing similar circumstances.
Starting with three mums at the first support group, this quickly grew via word of mouth. It now has approximately 200 registered carers and has supported over 1,000 carers both online and in person since opening.
I thank founder Joline and her dedicated team for raising autism awareness and making a difference in the lives of caregivers and those they care for. Thank you, and well done."
