Our Mission

Our Founder

Our founder Joline is a devoted caregiver and a recognised community leader; receiving Fairfield City Citizen of the Year medallion in 2023. Joline's dedication extends to sharing her insights through speaking engagements, including at schools, events, and on platforms like SBS radio and podcasts. Inspired by her youngest son's autism diagnosis, she founded Help You Cope to ensure that other carers never feel alone on their journey.

Moreover, Joline's personal commitment to addressing the shortage of counsellors with a deep understanding of autism caregivers has led her to pursue counselling studies, further demonstrating her passion for supporting those in need. Joline is dedicated to providing compassionate care and resources to carers and understands the importance of well-being and health whilst caring for others

Our Vision

Help You Cope was born from personal adversity. The founder Joline’s encounter with her child's autism diagnosis initially left her feeling lost and unsupported. Navigating the maze of emotions and scarce resources, she vowed to change this narrative for others. What started as a local mothers' group in South West Sydney has now blossomed into a non-profit charity providing a variety of supports for carers.

Our mission is to ensure that no caregiver ever feels alone in their journey. We are here to provide the support and resources carers need to support their families.

At Help You Cope we offer essential supports and a beacon of guidance for those who selflessly care for loved ones, as we understand the complex nature and challenges carers face.

As you navigate your journey as a carer, Help You Cope provides the opportunity to enrich your experience with wellbeing workshops, reassuring emotional support whilst connecting you with like-minded carers.
